Title: Summer Learning Journey
Day 1
Activity 1:
Tell us what time of year you think is best for tourists for come and visit
New Zealand is very hot and dry most of the times,I think 2019 is the best year for tourist to visit Zealand because:
- The tourist would kayak the beautiful Island
- Queenstown would become more fresh and the tourist would go wild in Queenstown.
- Explore the unique style of the geothermal.
List five different things that we can do to protect ourselves from the sun this summer!
Activity 2:
This summer I absolutely think that these steps would help you take cover from the sun.
- Wear a hat.
- Apply sunscreen on your skin.
- Find shade if the sun is at its strongest.
- Wear sunglasses.
- Wear a long sleeve to cover up in the sun.
Post a picture of your graph
Activity 3:
Hi again Michelle
ReplyDeleteSummer is a great time to visit New Zealand. The activities that you have listed sound like fun. I love kayaking. I is one of my favourite hobbies. You need to be sure when you are on the water that you follow all of those sun smart rules that you listed otherwise you will get very burnt!
Your graph looks really good and I love the research of the temperatures in different islands that you did. To get the full 15 marks for activity 3 you need to create a graph about the hottest global temperatures of all time. Here is the data you need. Dallol: 41oC; Dasht-e Loot: 71oC; Tirat Zvi: 54oC; Kabili: 55oC; Bandar-e Mahshahr: 51oC Let me know when it's done and I will update your points.
Ngā mihi,
Izzy
