Title: Follow Up

I have -$870 on my credit card.  I repaid $35 on my credit card. How much money do I now have?
-870 + 35 = -835
Interest is 10%.  How much will interest be?
835% of 10% = 83.5%
What will the number problem be to show the total amount I pay?
-835 - 83.5
How much do I owe?
= 918.5

I am solving a word problem that involves how to find a percentage of a number, it helps me to figure out weather I have to add or subtract a negative digit.

  1. It is important to bring a floaty for the little ones so they wouldn’t be drowned.

Fundraising 25/10/18

Michelle
Date: Thursday 25 October 2018
Title: Fundraising

WALT - Write an explanation about how could we raise $14,000 to buy sports equipment for our school.

Success Criteria -
  • Using expensive vocabularies
  • Having a title for our explanation writing
  • Include academic
  • I must make sure I start with a capital letter.

What is fundraising? is when you gather people for money ` to buy your delicious sweet treats, asking for sponsors or buying a raffle ticket because they want to help donate it or we need to fundraise because they need abundant of money to buy stuff.
I totally think we should have a bake sale because children in New Zealand  loves sweets, cakes or pies. If we kick off a bake sale we could attract more customers in buying our sugary treats, we could even have a enjoyable day in the kitchen picking flavours for customers to buy.

Or I think asking a sponsor would help get progress on our money by asking stores such as pak n save, countdown and New world for sponsors, they will definitely give you a sponsor.

And of course we should include a raffle, we should buy a entertaining awesome objects, candy or devices to convince them to buy a raffle ticket.

These are all my types of reasons what we should fundraise about at school to help get $14,000 to buy sports equipment.
