Book Review 10/6/19

Title: Coming Up
Author: David Hill

Book Review:

My opinion of the book?
In my point of view jakes actions and thoughts was in need for help. His varieties of wrestling holds that he perform on jake was useful.

What's the book about?

The book is about two relatives who bores each other, Shrimp and Jake. They each reach an ancient bridge which is a shortcut that leads to the river. But suddenly the bridge plunged to the ground where a driver who drove a tractor was stuck in. So both characters dived in the river to the rescue.

Interesting Vocabularies:
1.Suspension: Continuing in something.
2.Sarcastic: Being in a mockable action
3.Thrashed: Being in a overwhelmed process or beating someone up.

Recommend:
I recommend this book because it’s full of useful process in need for someone.
It helps people to think  before you act.
It helps you develop multiple holds.

My favourite character?

I admire Jake because he thinks before he acts. He uses his prior knowledge that he developed in his wrestling practice which saved the day.

Title: Order Of Operations
WALT : Solve Maths equations that have more than one operations using the order of operations rule. (BEDMAS / PEDMAS)
SUCCESS CRITERIA :
  • I must understand the meaning of the term operations.
  • I must understand the order of operations rule.
  • I must able to solve an equation with multiple operations.

  1. 3 + 7 x 4 = 31
7 x 4 = 28
28 + 3 = 31

  1. 5 - 2 + 3 = 0
2 + 3 = 5
5 - 5 = 0

  1. 6 x 4 ÷ 3 + 1 = 9
24 ÷ 3 + 1
8 + 1 = 9

  1. ( 4 -2 ) + 3 x 6 = 20
2 + 3 x 6
2 + 18 = 20

  1. 8 + 3 x ( 4 - 1 ) x 2 = 26
8 + 3 x 3 x 2
8 + 3 x 6
8 + 18 = 26

 6. 2( 32 + 1)2 = 200
2 ( 9 + 1 )2
2 x 102
2 x 100 = 200

 7. 3 + ( 4 + 5) 2 ÷ 27 = 6
3 + 92  ÷ 27
3+ 81  ÷ 27

I have been solving equations using the most efficient and the quickest way.
