Yursa mardini is a 21 year old refugee olympic athlete, she is currently living in berlin, Germany. She was appointed the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador award.
Her childhood was all about war and fighting, till the age of 17 when she fled Damascus in a boat, when suddenly it sank and she swam for help in the middle of the ocean, which she saved 19 people.
She has supported many people that has experinced the same situation she has been through and is determined to serve them with help.
