Speech 3/11/17

Intro: Malo lelei my name is Michelle and today I’m going to persuade you why we should have longer school holidays.

In this situation we should have longer school holidays because at the moment here in Auckland there are less teachers teaching at schools because their old, their finding other jobs and their leaving Auckland because the houses can be very expensive.
Specifically  Finland has one of the best educations system in the world. Finland is an innovative country when it comes to education, and its innovation yields results.

In fact  we should have longer school holidays so we can have quality time together with our family member. At school, kids have homework, assignments and projects that are very important. But on the other hand, parents don't really have time with their kids. Even though kids meet friends at school, they only get around an hour to play outdoors. Plus, when it is raining, they can play or do anything but stay under the shelter.

Students need a break occasionally because they should spend more time in vacation with their families. It helps our stress level, we can just relax and enjoy what we're doing.
As I am a kid, I find school holidays very fun because you can enter skids, or other fun programs to do in the holidays. Many children continues musical educations and sport at the holiday, so it's good to spend time what you like so you can follow your dreams at all times. At school students are really
silly and breaks stuff that isn’t theirs so if it's the holiday they can spend their time being grounded from their silly behavior.

This is unfair  for teachers who work hard and teaching some students and silly students they should have 3 days off not two. As kids they don’t have much time to socialize. When children's sleep in, at the holidays they can grow feet taller, this is good for the shorter ones who wants to grow, school holidays should stay longer because it is meant to recharge yourself and anyway, I have experienced lots of vacations at the islands and the country's or sometimes in the beach with my family, sometimes if you're bored you can always go to the beach and the park because it’s free to use at always.

Without a doubt that is why students and teachers should have a longer school holidays.

Should Halloween celebrations be banned in NZ 1/11/17

Title: Should Halloween celebrations be banned in NZ\

No
1. Free candy
2. Makes candy cheaper at stores
3. Hanging out with friends
4. Get to watch scary movies
5. Can play scary games
6. Halloween parties

I strongly feel that Halloween shouldn't be banned because we could hang with friends looking for free candy around the neighbourhood and watch out for each other.

Candy can be cheaper at the stores than normal which means we get more, my friends and I can get to watch scary movies and play scary games like bloody mary, baby blue, chucky, annabelle and IT.

Many people enjoy Halloween parties and therefore they shouldn't be banned because we can spend time with friends and family enjoying food and scary movies and games.

In conclusion, the above reasons are why Halloween shouldn't be banned.
